IREWOLEDE LCDA CHAIRMAN FELICITATES MUSLIMS ON EIL-EL-FITR,CALLS FOR PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE

The Executive Chairman of Irewolede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Mrs.) Dupe Bakare, has felicitated with all Muslim faithful across the six communities of Irewolede LCDA on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast.

In her goodwill message, Hon. Bakare urged Muslim brothers and sisters in the council area to uphold and imbibe the virtues and lessons learned during the holy month of Ramadan, particularly those of love, patience, sacrifice, and self-discipline.

The Chairman commended Muslims and adherents of other religions within Irewolede LCDA for the sustained mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence that have prevailed since she assumed office.

She further noted that the relative peace being enjoyed across the six communities in the council is a result of the cooperation, unity, and tolerance among residents, irrespective of their religious differences.

Hon. Bakare also used the opportunity to seek the continued support of the people of Irewolede LCDA for the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, in his second-term bid in the forthcoming election scheduled for July 20, 2026, to enable him continue his good works for the development of the state.
