In a demonstration of commitment to education and community development, the Chairman of Irewolede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Mrs.) Dupe Bakare, has presented a cheque of One Hundred Thousand Naira to Temidire Community High School.
The cheque was handed over to the school’s principal, Mr. Ateji Oluwafemi, at a brief ceremony held at council Chairman’s office. The fund is designated for the purchase of a photocopy machine to support the school’s administrative and academic activities.
In his remarks, Mr. Ateji Oluwafemi expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Bakare and the entire management of Irewolede LCDA for their generosity and support. “We are sincerely thankful to the council for this kind gesture. The funds will be used strictly for the intended purpose, and we assure you that it will contribute significantly to the smooth running of the school,” he said.
He further commended Hon. Bakare’s leadership and the council’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure within the LCDA.
Hon. Bakare reaffirmed the council’s dedication to supporting educational institutions and fostering community development. She emphasized that investing in education remains a top priority for her administration and encouraged the school to maximize the benefits of the assistance.
