Hon. Dupe Bakare Presides Over 2025 First Security Meeting

First edition of Security and Intelligence Committee Meeting of Irewolede LCDA for the year 2025 was held today,30th January at the conference hall of the Council’s secretariat.

The meeting which was well attended by the representatives of all the security agencies in the LCDA was presided over by the Executive Chairperson,Hon.(Mrs) Dupe Bakare.

The Chairperson while welcoming the officers, commended their outstanding performance in the year 2024, particularly during the yuletide period.

The council boss emphasized the need for effective collaboration among the security agencies, urging every residents of the council to be security conscious and alert security officers if they find anything suspicious in their environment.

She enjoined the officers to beef up security around public infrastructures. She also offered prayers for the safety of security operatives as they carry out their constitutional duties.

The security officers in their separate remarks said there was relative peace in the month under review.

They expressed gratitude to the Chairperson for her unwavering commitment and supports for their agencies,with a promise to ensure adequate security of lives and properties within the LCDA and its boundaries.

The meeting was attended by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Samson Kolawole, Secretary, Hon. Adewale Adebo,HLA,Mr. Titiloye Omotayo and deputy director of administraion,Mr. Dele Akintade.

Representatives of security agencies from Department of State Security (DSS), Nigerian Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDS), Amotekun Corps,Peace Corps, Nigeria Vigilante Group, Nigeria Hunters & Forest Security Service and Agro Marshall were all present at the meeting
