The Executive Chairman of Irewolede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Mrs.) Dupe Bakare, has charged contractors participating in the council’s bidding process to deliver high-quality work that will stand the test of time.

Bakare ,who is also the chairman of the Tender Board of the Council,made the remark during the bidding exercise at the Council’s Conference Hall on Wednesday.She emphasized that successful bidders must strictly adhere to the terms and conditions of their agreements.
The council chairperson underscored the importance of professionalism and integrity in executing public projects, noting that contractors’ credibility would be measured by the quality of work delivered.
Speaking at the event,the Executive Secretary for Ekiti Central ,Barr. Aluko and the Head of Local Government Administration of the Council urged the contractors to meet the required standards outlined in the contract agreement, warning that substandard work would not be accepted. He assured that only contractors who deliver as promised would be considered for future opportunities.
The contracts up for bidding include,Repair and installation of a 300KVA/33KV transformer at Ayegunle Ekiti,construction of a box culvert (7 x 1.2 x 2)m at Ayo Ogundele bypass, Iloro Ekiti,60-meter line drainage in front of Irewolede LCDA Secretariat,construction of a box culvert (8.8 x 2 x 1)m at Baba Olukota Junction, Iloro bypass, Iloro Ekiti,and construction of a box culvert (6 x 1.3 x 0.6)m in front of CAC Church, Temidire Ekiti
Present at the program were Vice Chairman Hon. Samson Kolawole, Secretary to the Council Hon. Adebo Adewale, Zonal Inspector Barr. Ayo Aluko, Representative from the Ministry of Local Government Mr. Arowosola S.A., HLA Mr. Omotayo Titiloye, among others .
