The Executive Chairperson of Irewolede Local Council Development Area of Ekiti State, Hon.(Mrs) Dupe Bakare has felicitated with Muslims across the LCDA and Nigeria at large on the occasion of the 2025 Eid-el-kabir celebrations.

Bakare in her Sallah’s congratulatory message enjoined Muslim faithful to reflect on the significant lessons of the festival,known as the festival of sacrifice, reminded them that Eid-el-kabir is centered on submission to the will of Allah through faith and sacrifice.
Highlighting the virtues exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, the council boss called on Muslim faithful to embrace love, tolerance,faith, obedience and sacrifice.
Hon. Bakare appealed to the Muslim Ummah to eschew any form of unlawful behavior capable of disrupting the relative peace being enjoying in the council area and the state at large.
“We must remain resolute and committed to maintaining peace and unity across our six communities”,she stressed.
She expressed her gratitude for the support and prayers being offered by the Muslim Ummah and all residents across religious lines which she said has helped her in steering the affairs of the council since inception.
She further solicited for their continued support and urged them to continue praying and supporting the government of Ekiti state under the leadership of governor Biodun Oyebanji.
In conclusion,the Chairperson congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-kabir, wishing them a joyous and spiritually uplifting celebration.
