Bakare Mobilises APC Members To Galvanize Support For Oyebanji’s Re-election.

The executive Chairperson of Irewolede LCDA, Hon.(Mrs) Dupe, has called on members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the council area to vote massively for Governor Biodun Oyebanji during the forthcoming governorship primary, slated for 27th October,2025.

Bakare stated this on Thursday during the tour of the three Wards in the LCDA to drum support for the governor.

Despite the heavy downpour that took up a large part of the day, the party faithful trooped out en masse to receive the council boss and his entourage, which included the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Local Intelligence, Hon. Folorunso Ajayi, State youth leader of APC, Mr Sunday Asekun, State Assistant Organising Secretary, Mr Deji Babalola, among others.

Speaking during the tour of the three wards, Hon. Bakare said it is important to re-elect Oyebanji in order to consolidate on the achievements recorded during his first term.

She said the remarkable achievements of the governor in road infrastructure, health, education, agriculture, grassroots development, among others have transformed the state.

“In Irewolede LCDA, we have felt the impacts of Mr Governor, which include the construction of Ilukuno-okeoro road and the ongoing construction of Ijurin-Ayegunle road, ” she stated.

Bakare commended the governor for fostering political stability and social cohesion in the state.

Hon. Bakare used the opportunity to sensitize party members on the need to intensify mobilization efforts for the ongoing INEC voters registration across all wards and communities to ensure a strong showing at the polls.

Various speakers at the event, including party leaders, executives, youths and women, praised Governor Oyebanji’s impressive performance in office and reiterated their unwavering commitment to deploy the full structures and grassroots meetings to secure his re-election in 2026.
