The April Edition of the security and the intelligence meeting of Irewolede local council development area (LCDA) was held today, April 30, 2025 at the council conference Hall. The meeting was presided over by the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon (Mrs) Dupe Bakare
She acknowledged the presence of key stakeholders, the security agents and the chairman, council of Obas in Irewolede LCDA, HRM Oba Oluwafemi Olugbesoye, The Oluloro of Iloro Ekiti.
The council chairman urged all the security agents to collaborate and work diligently to flush out criminal elements that may pose a threat to the peace and stability of the area
Reports presented by the Head of various security formations indicated that relative Peace was maintained throughout April The chairman reiterated the need for security agencies to intensify efforts to eliminate criminal hideouts across the LCDA
All the security operatives present at the meeting appealed to the council leadership to provide the necessary logistics and incentives that would enhance effective policing across the Six communities
