Irewolede LCDA Boss Joins Ojurin To Commission Multi-million Naira Projects To Mark 10th Coronation Anniversary

Today, Friday, January 24, 2025, will forever remain a memorable day in the history of Ijurin Ekiti, as His Royal Majesty, Oba Joachim Adeyemi Afolabi Ajibola, the Ojurin of Ijurin Ekiti, commissioned several multimillion-naira projects for the benefit of the community and humanity at large.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as citizens, adorned in vibrant local fabric attire, gathered to celebrate this remarkable milestone. The projects inaugurated by the royal father included a gigantic palace building, a modern community hall, two motorized Solar boreholes, a tarred road project, and other developmental initiatives aimed at uplifting the community.

The event was graced by the Executive Chairman of Irewolede LCDA, Hon. (Mrs.) Dupe Bakare, a woman renowned for her integrity and commitment to public service. Hon. Bakare while speaking at the event expressed her appreciation to the community for their unwavering support to HRM Oba Joachim Adeyemi Afolabi Ajibola, commending the monarch for his visionary leadership and dedication to the progress of Ijurin Ekiti.

Hon. Bakare urged the citizens, both at home and in the diaspora, to sustain their cooperation with the royal father to ensure the continued development of the community. She also lauded the people of Ijurin Ekiti for their loyalty and timely payment of levies, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in bringing more developmental projects to the Irewolede LCDA.

HRM Oba Oyedeji Ayorinde, Oganija Ekin II, the Olowa of Odo Owa Ekiti

HRM Oba Alexander Aina, the Owa of Oke Oro Ekiti

The event also saw the presence of key figures from the Irewolede LCDA management team, including Vice Chairman, Hon. Samson Kolawole,
Secretary, Hon. Adebo Adewale,HLA, Mr. Omotayo Titiloye, alongside other council directors.

Also in attendance were members of the 10th Coronation Planning Committee, led by Comrade William Adunbi, and supported by Hon. Ayodele Omotoso, Secretary of the committee. The CAN Chairman, Revd. A.O. Komolafe, also graced the event, adding spiritual significance to the celebration.
