Hon. (Mrs) Dupe Bakare, Executive Chairman of Irewolede LCDA, presented her stewardship report to the Ekiti State House Of Assembly, highlighting her administration’s achievements from January to August 2024
Key Achievements :
Agricultural Development :
Plantation of 1500 heaps of yam
Oil palm nursery plantation with 1000 seedlings
Farmers empowerment through farm input and implements
Plantation of 200 plantain suckers
Security :
Monthly security and intelligence meeting with all security agents
Barricading of three locations : Ijurin/Temidire , Iloro/Ayetoro and Iloro/Osun road
Social welfare :
Empowerment of widows
Financial assistance to Elder E. Arabi , Mrs Ajayi Omowumi , financial support to Ijurin community ongoing Palace project and financial aid to the family of Joseph Ogidan for motherless twin babies.
Having itemized her achievement for the eight months , The RT Honourable speaker asked from Mrs Dupe Bakare the effects of continuity in governance and the Executive Chairman, Bakare explained that it was a good one because it doesn’t give room for abandoned project and also bring about rapid development than wasting the State resources
The Right Honourable speaker, Mr Steve Adeoye Aribasoye commended Hon.Bakare for her brilliant presentation , affirming her as a veteran and woman of integrity committed to transparency and meaningful development in Irewolede LCDA .
